About Northwest K9 Hydrotherapy
After becoming disillusioned with Corporate life in 2014 I took the decision leave my profession and retrain as a Canine Hydrotherapist. This allowed me to follow my love of water and dogs.
I qualified as a Level 3 hydrotherapist in 2015 but felt the need to learn more so embarked on my Level 5 with K9HS. I completed this at the end of 2017 and also gained my certification in Advanced Underwater Treadmill therapy and treatments. After a period of being a self-employed Canine Hydrotherapist I got the opportunity to own Northwest K9 Hydrotherapy. I took over from Carole Fearon in February 2019 with the aim of continuing her success.
I have 2 rescue dogs, rehomed from the Penny Jones Animal Hospice, Sally-Wags and Bonnie-Bean. Sally-wags had previously been a patient, needing rehabilitation following a complex operation to her fore paw. I fell hopelessly in love. Then came Bonnie-Bean who has a severely dislocated pelvis and neurological problems caused by distemper. She also has an amazing a lust for life. Both have me wrapped around their paws.
